A címer leírása:
Háromszögű pajzs kék mezejében ezüst vörös tetejű templom, melynek jobb és bal oldalán, a pajzsfő elején és a pajzsfő hátsó részén, egy-egy arany szőlőfürt lebeg. A pajzsot természetes búzakalász-pipacs koszorú veszi körül. A pajzs felett fekete betűkkel lebegő „VÖCKÖND" felirat látható.
A pajzsra emelt címerképek jelentése:
A község templomát, a falu lakóinak munkájával és adományaiból építették, az 1900-as évek elején. Az újkori címer háromszögű pajzsának kék mezejére emelt stilizált templom, az összefogás a közösségi összetartozás szimbóluma. A pajzsfő arany szőlőfürtjei a falucska fölött lévő szőlőhegy jelképei.
A búzakalász-pipacs koszorú úgy öleli körül a címerpajzsot, mint a mezők és rétek a községet, sugallva az érintetlen táj szépségét, a finom falusi ebédek hangulatát a nyugodt pihenés lehetőségét, mindazt a sok-sok értéket, melyet Vöckönd község képvisel.

In triangular shield erect and azure the charge of a church argent is borne, roofed gules. The charge of the church is flanked by a bunch of grapes on the dexter and on the sinister respectively, both motives are tinctured or. Shield is enframed by a wreath of wheat and poppies. Above the shield the settlement’s name VÖCKÖND is inscribed encouped in letters sable.
The charges in Vöckönd’s coat of arms can be interpreted as follows:
The church of the village was built in the early 1900s from donations and from the work of the inhabitants of the village. The golden bunches of grape in the chief symbolise the vinehill, which can be found above the settlement.
The wreath of wheat and poppies embraces the shield the way the settlement is surrounded by wheat fields and pastures of wild flowers. This motif recalls the beauty of the settlement’s surroundings, its untouched landscape, the nice atmosphere of meals eaten in the countryside, the possibility of a peaceful vacation and all those amenities, a small village like Vöckönd can offer to its visitors.
