Álló, csücskös pajzs sárgával és kékkel hasított jobb oldali sárga mezejében természetes színű, lebegő jegenyefa, bal oldali kék mezejében lebegő sárga búzakalász.
Külső díszek:
A Pajzs felett ívelt, sárga szalagon egy-egy fekete pont között „ÚJSZILVÁS” felirat. A pajzsot a heraldikai jobb oldalon természetes, szilvákkal megrakott szilvafa-ág, baloldalán szintén természetes, komlóval megrakott komlóág öleli körül. A pajzs alatt egymást keresztező ágak találkozásánál sárga szalagon az „1950”-es évszám Újszilvás önálló közigazgatási egységgé (településsé) való válását jelenti.

Shield erect, party per pale azure and or, its base is curved to a point. In dexter field or the charge of a poplar tree is borne encouped, tinctured proper, while in sinister field azure an ear of wheat or is borne encouped.
The outer ornaments of the settlement’s coat of arms are as follows:
Above the shield on a ribbon or the settlement’s name ÚJSZILVÁS is inscribed. Before and after the settlement’s name a dot is borne, sable. On the dexter side the branch of a plum tree is borne, fructed, on the sinister side a hop-motif is borne, also fructed. Both motives are tinctured proper. Below the shield two branches are borne crosswise and a ribbon or with the date 1950 in it. This was the year when Újszilvás became a self-governing settlement.
