Álló, háromszögletű, zölddel és vörössel hasított katonai pajzs, amelynek jobboldali, zöld színű mezejében jobbra forduló, ezüst túzok lebeg, bal oldali, vörös mezejét pedig arany hullámpólya díszíti, fölötte nyolcágú arany csillaggal. A pajzson ekevasakból formált, vörös ékkövekkel díszített, háromlombú aranykorona látható, a pajzs alatt pedig egy szalag lebeg TISZABÁBOLNA felirattal.
A hasítással két részre osztott címerpajzs a múltat és a jövőt jelképezi: a jobb oldalon lévő túzok az ember és környezete új kapcsolatára utal, a bal oldali mezőben a hullámpólya a Tiszára, a csillag pedig a település templomának védőszentjére, Szűz Máriára. A címerkorona Tiszabábolna régi jelképét: az ekevasat ábrázoló pecsétet idézi.

Triangular military shield erect, party per pale vert and gules. In dexter field vert a bustard argent is borne encouped, turning toward the dexter. In sinister field gules a wavy bend or, above it an eight-pointed star, or. Shield is topped by a tree-pointed verdured crown or, decorated with gems of ploughshare-like motives, all gules. Below the shield a ribbon is borne encouped with the settlement’s name TISZABÁBOLNA inscribed in it in capital letters.
The shield, partitioned into two, is symbolical of the settlement’s past and future. The charge of the bustard on the dexter side is a reference to the altered relationship between man and his environment. The wavy bend on the sinister side is the symbol of the Tisza river, while the charge of the eight-pointed star evokes the Holy Virgin, the patron saint of the local church. The crown on the top is a reference to the traditional emblem of the village of Tiszabábolna, the ploughshare, which is borne as the central charge in the old village seal.
