Álló háromszögletű, bíbor színű katonai pajzs, amelynek mezejében Szent György arany lovon ülő, ezüst lándzsájával egy arany sárkányt ledöfő arany alakja lebeg. A pajzs fölött bíbor-arany tekercs, amelyben egymáson haránt fekvő felhúzott ezüst íj, illetve ezüst kettős kereszt az oromdísz. A pajzs alatt ezüst szalag lebeg SZEMERE felirattal.
