Álló háromszög pajzs zölddel és arannyal hasítva. A jobb oldali zöld mezőt a vágás helyén hullámos arany szalag osztja, felette tizenhat (16) sugarú arany nap, a pajzstalpban kacsos, száras, arany szőlőlevél lebeg.
A bal oldali arany mezőben stilizált, gyökeres, tizenegy (11) leveles zöld fa (tatár-juhar) lebeg.
A pajzs felső éle felett, azzal egyező hosszban arannyal a MONORIERDŐ felirat olvasható.
A címer motívumai a község területének kedvező éghajlati és természeti adottságaira utalnak, hangsúlyozzák azt, hogy a településen élők számára fontos a természeti környezet és annak megóvása.
A tatár-juhar a környéken őshonos megbecsült fafajta, az arany szalag az itt feltárt értékes termálvizet jeleníti meg. A szőlőlevél az 1960 - 70-es években a „Szárhegyre” telepített és azóta is termő szőlőt és az abból készített jó minőségű bort idézi.

The motives of the settlement’s coat of arms are all references to the favourable climatic characteristics and natural conditions of the settlement and they are emphatic of the fact that the natural environment and its protection are of primary significance for the village dwellers.
The maple tree is native in this area. The golden wavy bend is a reference to the thermal water which had been found here. The motif of the vine leaf is an emblem of the famous vineyards of nearby Szárhegy, which were established in the 1960s and 70s and which still produce wines of extraordinary quality.
