Álló, csücsköstalpú tárcsapajzs.
A felső kék színű mezőben zöld színű domb. A domb szimbolizálja a Keleti-Mátra vonulatát. A dombon bal felé néző ezüstszínű lúd, amely jobb lábánál a dombon áll, ballábában babérleveles ágat tart.
A pajzsfőben lebegő aranyszínű szalagdísz, amelyben vörös színű „Curialis Ludasi” felírat látható. A lúd, a babérleveles ága és a felirat a település XVIII. századból származó pecsétjéből átvett motívumok.
A pajzstalpban hullámos ezüstszínű ikerpólya, amely utal a község közelében található Bene- és Tarnóca - patakokra.
A pajzstalp zöld színű mezejében aranyszínű évszám „1464”. Az évszám utal a település első dokumentált okleveles megjelölésére.
A zöld szín szimbolizálja az itt élő emberek őstermelői tevékenységét.

Spade shield erect, its base is curved to a point.
In chief azure a mound vert. The charge of the mound is symbolical of the range of the Eastern Mátra. On top of the mound a goose argent, looking toward the sinister. With its dexter foot it is standing on the mound, while with its sinister foot it is holding an olive branch.
In chief a ribbon or is borne encouped, in which the words ’Curialis Ludasi’ are inscribed in letters gules. The charges of the goose and the olive branch, as well as the inscription are all motives, taken over from the settlement’s 18th century seal.
In base two wavy bends argent, a reference to the streams of Bene and Tarnóca, both of which can be found in the vicinity of Ludas.
In base vert the date 1464 can be seen. This was the year when the settlement’s name got first recorded in writing.
The tincture vert symbolises the agricultural activities of the inhabitants of the settlement.
